"My family and I visit the hotel for lunch/dinner every time we’re in the area and we couldn’t be happier with the service and quality! Food is always delicious and absolutely worth the price due to the serving size! All the employees are lovely and friendly. Also dogs. The dogs are so sweet. Always ready for pats and belly rubs. Highly recommend!!"
"Our family arrived late into town on a road trip holiday, at the Pastoral hotel we found a warm welcome and delicious food. The publican was working hard with a sing-along night and 18th Birthday party booked, but managed to squeeze our group in without a reservation! Staff were wonderful, beer cold and the I enjoyed the best and biggest steak Ive had in years, cooked to perfection! Thank you"
"Stopped in for a drink late afternoon, as we were on a bit of an ancestral hunt in the area. Greeted by a big smile from the bar manager, only two other locals in there, but filled up a bit whilst we were in there. Cold beer, great old photos, and other memorabilia. We ended up speaking with a local who his father worked for my partner’s great grandfather…small towns, always worth talking to locals! :) We left to sort..."

"We really liked this pub. Very outback pub feel and the bloke behind the jump was very welcoming and worked very hard to make sure everyone got served promptly and meals all went out without a fuss. The beer garden was quite cool also, we will go again for sure but not sure when as mathura didn’t seem to have much there worth seeing again."
